Heat Exchanger Design & Optimization

Heat exchangers are energy exchange equipment; they transfer heat from one working medium to another working medium, which are used for cooling and heating purposes. The optimal design and efficient operation of the heat exchanger and heat transfer network are of great significance in minimizing production cost and power consumption.

For most applications, maximizing the thermal efficiency while minimizing the pressure drop, size, weight, and cost are the primary objectives for heat exchangers' optimization. In recent years, advances in additive manufacturing have enabled the application of more intricate designs with augmented heat transfer structures to further enhance heat exchangers’ performance.

TKelvin has extensive experience in heat exchanger design, inverse design, multi-objective optimization, and additive manufacturing, which has enabled us to design novel and optimal heat exchangers that outperform conventional ones.
